Navigating innovation in our fast-paced, complex world is challenging, a hurdle Bayer faced. To overcome this, we formulated a pioneering strategy for Bayer’s Healthcare and Crop Science divisions, enabling expansive, swift, and effective innovation with key external collaborators. This approach led to the establishment of a network of Labs, designed to amplify innovation by fostering partnerships with renowned scientists and startups and involving end users.
Result
The outcome is a vibrant network of entrepreneurial science labs in major cities, open to the public. These labs are collaborative spaces where customers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and top scientists co-create solutions to urgent challenges in healthcare, crop science, and environmental sustainability. This innovative approach has accelerated solution development and created a synergistic ecosystem to tackle complex issues affecting our health and the environment.
